Future Stars

The future of motorsport is looking bright; numerous fresh faces are continuing to bring talent to an industry that is in danger of losing its core principals to one important factor: funding. The majority of these drivers will carry funding and sponsorship with them (they may have to if they intend to survive this ruthless sport) but most importantly they have the raw race pace that is so desperately needed. Without it, motorsport cannot survive.

FUTURE STARS uncovers the talents of young drivers from various racing catergories. Some may be set for a future at the top, others may be struggling but as long as they’re quick, they deserve a place on this list.

You can see the list of drivers for the 2013-2015 seasons here.

  1. Hi, Red Bull signed up an 18 year old girl from The Netherlands, Beitske Visser. She has shown some very impressive things, won a race while having a serious back injury. Bernie’s dream addition to F1.

    • Funny you should say that David, she’s on an ever-growing list. Stay tuned, she’ll be added to the list soon! An exciting prospect who certainly deserves the title ‘Future Star’.

  2. That’s great, Katie! Beitske deserves it indeed. Looking forward seeing here climb the ladder.

  4. I would go with Robin Frijns and not just because like him, i’m also Dutch but i think he has real raw pace and it is still stupid that those drivers don’t get a real chance, all due to that 1 thing that makes the F1 world go round. #F1extra

  5. Time for an article on Josh Files, the hidden man of British motorsport who is a double champion in 2013 and is rapidly climbing the ladder to greater international success.
