Hello Caterham!

The penultimate day of car launches is over and Caterham F1’s latest challenger has been revealed. Just days after announcing Giedo Van der Garde was officially confirmed as their new driver alongside Charles Pic, the two stood proudly adorned in the customary yellow and green.

No Heikki Kovalainen or Vitaly Petrov, instead the fresh faces of two young drivers mirrored the innovative design visible.

Sticking to the team’s typical livery, the green seemed popular to onlookers. The car seems to have removed the yellow from the livery. A much more pleasing choice.

According to their team principal this reflects their the new vibrancy in the team. Poor Heikki ‘ey?!

The car may struggle, Marussia’s car is innovative by their standards. Only today will we begin to notice the difference. The Caterham has undercut sidepods and chassis to improve air flow in the car. Thus is similar to the Toro Rosso yesterday.
